Kayla Ramsey
Not only an incredible person, but she is also deeply passionate about the students she teaches. In addition to her teaching role, she coaches volleyball, basketball, and cross country. The time and effort she invests are evident whenever she talks about her students. Her face lights up with genuine passion, showcasing the deep care and love she has for them, embracing them for who they are. Often her students eagerly make requests for her to be their teacher or coach across all their classes and sports. Named the 2023 Rodeo Palms Rookie Teacher of the Year, this honor speaks volumes about her character and the dedication she brings to every one of her students. We are proud to call Coach Ramsey a true second-chance champion!

Abigail Figueroa
Abigail Figueria is an exceptional assistant nurse at a local elementary school in Conroe, Texas. For the past four years, she has been an incredible asset, not only caring for her own children but also for every student at the school. Despite any challenges faced, she has remained strong and dedicated, always showing up and giving her best for the kids each day. She is beloved by both the staff and the students she cares for as their school nurse. Abigail is truly a wonderful person, and it’s a privilege to share her inspiring story with the world!

Breanne Minard
Breanne is an exceptional educator who teaches freshman Algebra 1 at a high school in Katy, TX. Often the unsung hero of her department, she consistently goes above and beyond in her work with students and her support for fellow teachers. Working with freshmen can be challenging, but Breanne handles it with ease and always with a smile on her face. Her dedication and positive attitude make a lasting impact on both her students and colleagues. Breanne was nominated for this award by the entire school administration, a testament to her outstanding character and the significant influence she has on her students.

Loved by her students, Vanessa is known for her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to shaping the lives of the next generation. A true team player, she brings valuable experience as a lead teacher and is always ready to offer her help whenever the opportunity arises.
